How To Defeat The Shadow Hound In Once Human
The Shadow Hound boss fight is every bit as ferocious as one can imagine. Here are a few tips to keep in mind when taking on the Shadow Hound
- A lunge attack where it covers the distance in a short period of time. You will see the boss take a step back and get into position for a lunge – which is your signal to be ready to dodge
- There will be a red glow in its mouth – a signal that it is going to jump high and do a ground slam, as well as release three projectiles that can cause decent damage if they hit
- The whole body will glow red – and all your attacks will bounce off a shield. This is a signal for you to shoot orbs that appear around the body to first remove the shield and then continue attacking the boss.
- The boss will jump in the air and transform itself into a big red orb – which is the perfect time for you to deal some major damage – shoot like hell at the red orb. The boss will then fall to the ground and be immobile for a few seconds. Continue pounding it with your best weapon to remove chunks from the health bar.
- The boss may also fire a few orbs that stay in the air and keep damaging you. Make it your top priority to remove those from combat first before switching attention back to the boss
- At some points during the fight, the boss will disappear and will then burst through the ground. Be quick on your feet and ready to dodge the area from which the ground burst happens.
