When you are playing an MMO, you will eventually come across different currencies for every little aspect of the game. Throne & Liberty is no different, here you will also have to figure out different currencies to buy particular things. One of the currencies in the game titled Ornate Coins has many players confused about what it exactly does in the game and how to get more of them. This guide will help you get and use Ornate Coins in Throne & Liberty.

The most definite way to obtain Ornate Coins in Throne and Liberty is by collecting Codex Pages and Books.

    Collecting Purple Codex Page

The proper way to get Ornate Coins is by collecting Purple Codex Pages and Books. Every time you collect a page, you will earn x3 Ornate Coins. While initially, the number might not be any helpful over time the coin will rise to a good amount.

In the game world, there are over 150 Codex Pages that you can collect, which nets over 450 Ornate coins. If you head down to the shop and look at the Ornate Coin section, you can see there are plenty of items you can buy starting at 45 Ornate Coins.

Getting Ornate Coin via Mail by Developers

While the definite way to collect Ornate Coins is by collecting the books sometimes we can get the coins randomly.

Other methods to earn ornate coins include getting them via Mail from the Throne & Liberty Development team. It’s the most random way to earn the Ornate Coins since you never really know when you will get the blessing from the developers. Most information has the development team giving the coin away to compensate for the Server maintenance or other issues facing the game.

So the next time you experience any kind of server or game issues, you don’t have to be sad, you might get a couple of hundred Ornate Coins heading your way.

Getting Ornate Coin by Watching Livestream on Twitch

The last method to obtain the Ornate Coin is by watching a Livestream of the game on Twitch. Joining the Livestream events for a certain amount of time will grant you a good amount of Ornate Coins.

You will need to link your Amazon account with your Twitch Account to grab the rewards. But you will have to wait a short period of time before seeing the reward in the game.

    • Spending 2 hours on Livestream will net you x 100 Ornate Coins.
    • Spending 6 hours on Livestream will get you x 150 Ornate Coins.
    • And if you spend 12 hours watching the Livestream, you will get a whooping x 250 Ornate Coins.

Note: In the end, all the Ornate Coins add up, if you spend 12 hours watching the entire Livestream, you will get x 500 Ornate Coins in total.

We can spend the Ornate Coin in the game’s shop.

Throne & Liberty only has one premium currency (Lucent) that we can purchase via credit cards. The in-game currency is useful for the basic purchase of items. Ornate Coins live on the same side as the premium coins. It is an exclusive currency for a distinct shop.

    • Open the game’s shop by hitting Esc or you can open it by pressing F10 on your keyboard.
    • Here select the Ornate Coin icon, second of the bottom.
    • And voila, you can now spend the coin to get anything you want in the shop. From Amitoi to Upgrade materials, you can buy a variety of items by spending Ornate Coins.

Here many players will opt to get Dye and Sewing Thread to customize the character to stand out amongst the rest of the players. You might think about buying Enchanted Ink, needed to craft a Rare Blank Lithograph. You can also think about getting Precious Skill Books, a good way to tackle the early game run.

Some players go the other direction of reserving the Ornate Coins to spend after they hit the level 40 bar. Once the ornate coin starts mounting up in your inventory, it can be tempting to spend the coins to buy some random stuff. But it is better to hold on to the Ornate Coins because the needs will always change, especially in an MMO.
