How To Prepare For Exfil In BO6 Zombies
Before you plan your exfil, you need to prepare yourself and upgrade your weapons. The exfil portal does not appear until much later into the game, so you have plenty of time to prepare. Pick a weapon and upgrade it to the highest tier possible, then embed a Pack-A-Punch upgrade to get the most out of your weapon.
Also, invest in Perks, Armor Mods, and Field Upgrades like the Level 2 Armor Vest and JuggerNog. This can help you easily navigate the zombie hoard that will appear around the Exfil site. Besides this, try to get your hands on equipment to create a distraction so you don’t get overwhelmed. Some of the best equipment to use while exfiling are:

How To Safely Exfil In BO6 Zombies
Wait for the Exfil Spawn Point
Now that you are prepared, you have to play Zombies and go through the rounds as usual. The exfil portal usually appears after clearing Round 10, and you can find an exfil site every 5 rounds after. So, you can encounter an exfil site at Round 11, 16, and so on. To find the exfil spot, open up your tac-map and check it for a white walkie-talkie symbol moving near your spawn point.
Start Exfiling
You have a limited time to decide whether you want to exfil now or later, as the exfil chopper does not linger on the map for too long. To start the exfiling process, interact with the Exfil radio to end your current round. You then have to quickly navigate to the exfil spot.
Protect The Exfil Site
Upon reaching the site, you will face a wave of zombies. You need to protect the chopper from them and defeat all the zombies within the time limit to have a successful extraction. Use your upgraded weapon, equipment, and any perks you have to distract and kill the zombies.
Successfully Exfil
To know if you have successfully completed an exfil, there will be a cutscene where your character will enter the Exfil chopper. If failed, the cutscene will show the chopper blowing up in flames, and you have to repeat the exfil process again.
Best Ways To Exfil In BO6 Zombies
Instead of going through the hassle of waiting for an exfil chopper, you can rely on other methods to leave the game. You can save and exit the game from the main menu, and this will not hamper your progress in the current round of Zombies.
Another technique you can try is to use the Exit Strategy GobbleGum. Equip this particular Gobblegum if you have it to quickly spawn an exfil nearby, and it will also reduce the zombies you have to deal with while exfiling.
Exfil Rewards In BO6 Zombies
Performing a successful exfil will grant you Bonus XP, and any essence you carry will turn into extra Bonus XP. Also, if you are exfiling past Round 16, then you can collect an extra GobbleGum as part of your reward pool.
