Every videogame seems to have those moments, where you just want to throw the controller at the wall for not figuring out the puzzle. Star Wars Outlaws is no different, one of the most interesting missions in the game is The Breakout, towards the end of the quest, the game will ask you to deactivate the energy barrier, while it may sound easy it is quite annoying to figure it out. Here’s a quick guide to disable the energy barrier in the Breakout quest in Star Wars Outlaws.
Guide To Disable The Energy Barrier In Star Wars Outlaws
When you are at the end of the Breakout Mission, you will reach a point where the objective will switch from ‘Help Ank Escape the Factory’ to ‘Disable the Energy Barrier’. That’s where many players have said to face problems finishing the quest, as the game doesn’t point or highlight the power cores for Kay to destroy, the objective markers will simply point at the Energy Barrier. We have to figure out, where exactly are the power cores powering the barrier.
- First, make Nix open up the panel to destroy the core inside. This is common, as you would partake in many missions with that mechanic being playing out, but the real problem comes after you have destroyed the panel. What to do next?
- Don’t worry your game is not bugged, the second button is a well-hidden one. Here you will look for things that don’t blend well with the environment. Just move your camera to the left of the panel, where you shot down the first core. The key is to leave no stone unturned.
- And you will see a giant red-black boulder, looking odd compared to the rest of the environment. You know what to do next, pull out the blaster, switch the power module, point at the boulder, and pull the trigger. This will reveal the button inside. Shoot the red button to disable the energy barrier.
That’s it, you are now just a few steps away from escaping the Weapon Factory with Ank.
