There are four hidden trophies in the Fretless: The Wrath of Riffson, each one of which is hidden behind a puzzle and item gathering. Finding all four of them will unlock the Critter Collector achievement in the game. You can place all the trophies in your room at the starting area. Here is a complete guide to finding all four hidden trophies in Fretless and the item requirements for them.
Buying All Key Items From Zolio
You must buy all the Key items from Zolio in Zolio’s Camp to get the items required to unlock the trophies. The twist here is that all three Key items on sale at Zolio don’t take the game’s currency or notes. Here, you must trade a junk item (Woven Webs/ Cave Crystal/ Triadic Tree Leaf) to get these:
- Woven Webs: Spider webs that you can get by defeating enemies at Dissonant Thicket.
- Cave Crystal: You will find this item by defeating enemies at Carillon Caverns.
- Triadic Tree leaf: This item can be found on enemies in the Tunedra.
#1 Trumpet Crab Trophy | Zolio’s Camp
What to do: Press four different buttons found in Zolio’s Camp in the same order as the lobster’s tune at the beach.
Head to Zolio’s Camp, go south of the camp to the bonfire spot. Here you will see a lobster playing a tune. Each note will have different colors attached to it; remember the notes. Within the same area, you will find four different color buttons: Green/ Purple/ Cyan/ Red. Press the buttons in the same order as the lobster’s music colors, and you will get your Trumpet Crab trophy.
#2 Melodifrog Trophy | Whibblespoon’s House
What to do: Feed a Fly to a singing frog in Whibblespoon’s House.
Requirement: Fly
Fly Location: Fast travel to Dissonant Forest, move towards the south to enter Songwood Forest. Once you are in the Songwood Forest, move to your right, follow the pebbles on the ground, and they will lead you to the Fly at the end.
From the Songwood Forest area, make your way to Whibblespoon’s House. Head southeast from the house, and you will come across a small lake with a frog sticking its tongue out. Feed the frog a Fly to get the Melodrifrog Trophy.

#3 Warbler Trophy | Vivace Venue
What to do: Interact with four different birds in the Vivace Venue.
All four birds are located in all four corners of the Vivace Venue. The birds are usually found in secluded areas with no people in sight. Walk up to the birds and interact with them to set them flying to the fountain north of the area. After you have interacted with four different birds, head to the fountain spot and interact with it to drop the Warbler Trophy.
#4 Squeaky Spider Trophy| Dissonant Thicket
What to do: Buy a pair of scissors from Zolio in Zolio’s Camp and use them to cut the web of a lonely spider in the secret boss arena (Auxarchnid) of Dissonant Thicket.
Requirement: Scissors
Get to the secret boss Auxarchnid arena at Dissonant Thicket. Defeat the boss, and you will see a large hollowed-out tree truck at the corner of the boss arena. Get inside, and it will take you directly to the next area. Here, you will see a single sparkly spider hanging off its web. Use the Scissors to cut the web to release the spider, and it will drop the Squeaky Spider Trophy.
After you have obtained all four trophies, head back to the room in Harmony Heights. Head over to the upper floor and interact with the shelf to place all four trophies. You will earn the achievement Critter Collector: Complete the Critter Collection.
