Like many side quests you will encounter in video games, they require a specific item for us to hunt and finish to complete the quest. In Fantasy Life i, the quest Just Add Salt requires us to find a specific item to complete the quest. Luckily, you don’t have to work too much to find the item. Starting Just Add Salt Quest
First thing you should do is to make your way to the Angler’s Guild, look for an NPC named Tetch, found outside the guild. Talking to Tetch will add the quest “Just Add Salt“. Just like the name implies, you must obtain salt, not any common salt, you need to acquire Grilled Crucian x 3. Luckily, you can buy the item from a shop.
Grilled Crucian: Restores 30 HP and 1 focus point upon consumption. There is a super variant of the Grilled Crucian that recovers a bit more health than the regular kind. But for the quest, we just need 3 of the regular Grilled Crucian.
Finding Grilled Crucian
The item is easy to find as long as you have money in your pocket. You can get a free one in a house. We just need to grab 3 Grilled Crucians to complete the quest at hand.
Location of Free Grilled Crucian: You can get a free Grilled Crucian from Isaac’s place, located in West Castele. If you investigate the top right part of the room, you will find a free Grilled Crucian. Another option to get the item is by straight-up buying it from the shop.
Buying Grilled Crucian: The other locations for Grilled Crucian include the Castele shopping district, located in the western section of Castele.
Make your way over to Cook’s Guild and Restaurant, and buy 3 pieces of Grilled Crucian for 100 coins. In total, you will spend around 300 coins to acquire 3 Grilled Crucian. With the item in hand, head back to Tetch and finish the quest.
The game comes with a decent-sized map, and it will help a lot if you unlock all the 15 towers in Fantasy Life i to mark all points of interest and enable fast travel.
