The Strange Doors deviant in Once Human has a possibility of spawning at any location which has a Door Puzzle. These locations are distinctly identifiable when exploring – they will have several door frames lying about without any walls; with a scarecrow at the centre. The objective of these puzzle doors is to walk through the right one to get loot – as simple as that! What’s more, if you make a mistake, you can keep trying till you get it right.
Strange Door Deviation Location # 1 : Blackheart Region
The best place to farm for the Strange Door In Once Human is in the Blackheart region at location co-ordinates (4042, 134); north of Blackfell.
Strange Door Deviation Location # 2 : Iron River Region
The other place where you can try your luck in case the above one is not working is the Iron River region with co-ordinates (6610, -3682); just south of the Ricci Securement Point and north-east of Winding Ridge frontier.
If you are unlucky at both locations, you can always go back to the teleportation tower to change worlds and then give both the places a run again.

The Strange Door Deviation in Once Human helps you create portals in your territory to quickly teleport from one to the other. Once the Strange Door Deviation has been obtained and put inside an Isolated Securement Unit (In case your limit for Deviants is full, you can check out our guide here on how to increase capacity for the Isolated Securement Unit in Once Human); you will now be able to craft Shattered Strange Door.
Next, go to Facilities -> Function Facility; and you will see a Standing Portal, and a Horizontal Portal that can now be crafted using the following resources:
- 20 * Shattered Strange Door
- 4 * Acid
- 3 * Glass
- 20 * Steel Ingot
The description for either of these reads : “Can build a spacetime connection with other Strange Doors. Allows immediate travel to the other door with limited chances.” Keep in mind, that every time you use the Portal, it takes away 20 Durability from the starting Durability of 1000. So, keep repairing the Portal on a regular basis.
