I had assumed my time with Elden Ring Nightreign was mercifully over until they announced The Forsaken Hollows DLC.
What piqued my interest was the Abysswalker’s appearance in the official gameplay trailer. Seeing Knight Artorias made me sign up for the DLC so fast that I almost forgot what else it had to offer.
The DLC includes two new Nightfarers: Undertaker and Scholar, both of whom are great to play with. So, once again, I found myself in the land of Limveld, trying to fight the new bosses and farm some Murk to get their skins, or Garbs, if you’re married to the exact terminology.
What this sadistic multiplayer game didn’t think to tell me was that I had to beat the final boss of the DLC to get all of their skins, but I guess that makes sense, considering you had to beat Heolstor to obtain the skins for the base Nightfarers.
Here’s how to make it happen without seeing too many of those dreaded ‘You Died’ screens.
All Undertaker Skins & How To Unlock

If you’ve played Elden Ring Nightreign, you already know that there are a total of six skins for each Nightfarer, and the skin count remains the same for the two new Nightfarers. First, we’ll take a look at all of Undertaker’s skins and how to unlock them.
| Skin | How To Unlock |
| Undertaker (Default) | Automatically obtained after unlocking Undertaker. |
| Undertaker (Dawn) | Purchased from the Roundtable Hold’s Dresser for 14,000 Murk after completing the Balancers Expedition with her. (Second Expedition) |
| Undertaker (Darkness) | Purchased from the Roundtable Hold’s Dresser for 35,000 Murk after completing the Balancers Expedition with her. (Second Expedition) |
| Undertaker (Brass) | Purchased from the Roundtable Hold’s Dresser for 7,500 Murk after defeating Traitorous Straghess / Pure Impulse Straghess or Heolstor, The Nightlord, for the first time with Undertaker. (Dreglord Expedition) |
| Undertaker (Lord’s Blade) | Purchased from the Roundtable Hold’s Dresser for 7,500 Murk after defeating Traitorous Straghess / Pure Impulse Straghess or Heolstor, The Nightlord, for the first time with Undertaker. |
All Scholar Skins & How To Unlock

Next up, we have Scholar, with whom I really resonated with. His skin requirements remain the same as Undertaker’s, except for the Remembrance Quest. Here’s how you can unlock all six of his skins in Elden Ring Nightreign: The Forsaken Hollows:
| Skin | How To Unlock |
| Scholar (Default) | Automatically obtained after unlocking Scholar. |
| Scholar (Dawn) | Purchased from the Roundtable Hold’s Dresser for 14,000 Murk after completing the Balancers Expedition with him. (Second Expedition) |
| Scholar (Darkness) | Purchased from the Roundtable Hold’s Dresser for 35,000 Murk after completing the Balancers Expedition with him. (Second Expedition) |
| Scholar (Pardoner) | Purchased from the Roundtable Hold’s Dresser for 7,500 Murk after defeating Traitorous Straghess / Pure Impulse Straghess or Heolstor, The Nightlord, for the first time with Scholar. (Dreglord Expedition) |
| Scholar (Xanthous) | Purchased from the Roundtable Hold’s Dresser for 7,500 Murk after defeating Traitorous Straghess / Pure Impulse Straghess or Heolstor, The Nightlord, for the first time with Scholar. (Dreglord Expedition) |
That covers everything you need to know about unlocking every skin for Undertaker and Scholar in Elden Ring Nightreign: The Forsaken Hollows.
