In Season 9 of Diablo 4, you can now face the Horadric Strongrooms to fight even tougher enemies and bosses in the game. The sole purpose of introducing Horadic Strongrooms is to locate and help you craft Horadric Jewels, which is another unique crafting item that you can spot in Season 9. Since Horadric Strongrooms are rare to find, this guide will explain how to find them in Diablo 4.
How to Find Horadric Strongrooms In Diablo 4

Horadric Strongrooms appear within Nightmare Dungeon, but the chances of finding them are quite rare. There are a few things you can do to increase your chances, which will be discussed below.
- Playing on Torment: Higher World Tiers have an increased chance to help you find Strongrooms.
- Upgrading Horadric Wayfinders: During the quest Embers Yet Smolder, you will get a Horadric Wayfinder. Upgrading this item will help you locate Strongrooms faster.
- Using Nightmare Sigils: Nightmare Sigils that include affixes will always guarantee a Strongroom dungeon spawn.
To spot a Horadric Strongroom while exploring Nightmare Dungeons, watch out for a distinct sound that sounds different from your surroundings. You will also notice a flash of light, which indicates the direction where the Strongroom gateway is. Also, the first time you will be introduced to the Horadric Strongroom is during the quest Keepers of the Glen.
How to Clear Horadric Strongrooms

The Horadric Strongroom is a time sensitive dungeon, where you need to earn Horadric Attunements as quickly as you can. Dying gives you a penalty, which is something to keep in mind while exploring the Strongrooms. You have to fill up the Attunement bar within the time limit of 100 seconds. Below is how you can do that.
- There are three or more Horadric Statues to find and activate, depending on your difficulty level. Activating these statues will either give you buffs, or summon enemies.
- Once the statues are activated, defeat the monsters around it to gain Attunement. You can keep an eye on the Attunement bar to the right side of the screen to see how you fare.
- Sometimes, completing a full Pillar Ritual will give you a buff of +2 Attunement bonus for each monster kill.
- If you are running out of time, try to find Sacrifice Shrines to spawn a portal that will lead you to more monsters.
Once you have either completed filling up the Attunement bar or run out of time, a boss will spawn. Defeat the boss and the strongroom will be completed, and you will also get a Grand Horadric Cache with some unique rewards like:
- Obducite
- Escalation Sigils
- Horadric Tomes
- Horadric Knowledge
- Horadric Phials
- Random buffs like Gold, Reputation, Experience, etc.
