The look and the stats of legendary gear have always been the most sought-after items in the games. Borderlands 4 has plenty of legendary items that can be obtained from farming, and an early boss in Borderlands 4 provides a great opportunity to get your hands on a legendary weapon or two right at the beginning.

Here are all the legendary weapon drop details from the Splashzone boss grind.

    • Lead Balloon (Shotgun): When you fire the gun, the projectiles will fly up in the sky and release small projectiles that fall on the ground, creating a large area of explosion. This is ideal for taking out big bosses and mobs.
    • Barrage Sharpened Firewerks (Armor Shield); The shield releases homing missiles on kill; the missiles will go for the nearby enemies and deal splash damage.
    • Concussive Jelly (Granade): A self-replicating grenade. Once it explodes, it targets another target after replicating.

Note: The stats will be different depending on your current Level. If you are on a higher Level, then farming the Splashzone will get you better stat gears compared to the earlier Levels.

Where to Find Splashzone Boss in Borderlands 4?

Splashzone is the first boss encounter in Borderlands 4. The boss is located at Riptide Grotto in Coastal Bonescape, Fadefields. The first time you will encounter the Splashzone will be in the Recruitment Drive main mission. After defeating the boss once, you can go back to the location again and use Moxxi’s Big Encore Machine at the entrance to start farming the Splashzone boss. Make sure to have enough cash for the Moxxi’s Big Encore Machine to start the grind.

    Elemental Damage option for Splashzone

Spalshzone boss doesn’t have any shield or armor protecting him, so it’s best to go in with Incendiary-based weapons, since they are highly effective against flesh. If you are leveled up sufficiently, add some Enhancement Mods to make the weapons even more effective.

The goal is to end the fight pretty quickly to start farming all over again. Since it is a starter boss, you will have little to no problem taking him out of the picture.

This boss fight and the legendaries you collect should set you up nicely for future challenges in the game, like the Voraxis boss. You can also spend more time in the Fadefields area clearing Order Silos, or collecting Dead Bolts.
