Citadelle Des Morts Map features plenty of secrets, quests, and easter eggs. But to make your character strong, you will need to unlock the Pack-A-Punch machine just like we did on Liberty Falls or Terminus. Citadelle Des Morts features its own new ways to unlock the machines that will have us perform actions in a unique order to reach the final objective. Here is a complete guide on how to open up the Pack-A-Punch machine in Citadelle Des Morts in Call of Duty Black Ops 6.
Pack-A-Punch In Citadelle Des Morts
We first have to blow up a castle door, then defeat a Doppleghast to unlock the machine.
Citadelle Des Morts features a Pack-A-Punch machine but not something you can get on the surface. You will have to work for it, here are some of the steps that you need to execute to activate the machine in the new map.
- Getting to Castle
- Blow Up the Castle’s Door
- Opening up Crate
- Defeating Doppleghast Monster
Note: Before you continue, make sure you have around 7,500 Essence to open all the doors to get to the Pack-A-Punch machine in the end. It doesn’t matter if you take the route on the left or right to reach the castle, you will need 7,500 Essence to complete the objectives here.
Get To The Castle
The very first objective is to get to the castle located north of the map. When you spawn in the town square with a giant statue in the middle, you can take either a left or right path to reach the castle area. Both side features unique wall-buy guns but all of them direct to the north side of the map.
Essence Needs: The cost will be fairly the same for all sides, you can expect to spend around 1750 Essence to open up the locked gates to reach the castle.
Blow Up The Castle Door
We will have to angle the canon to blow up the Castle door
When you reach the castle, you will be unable to open the front door. Unlike the other doors we opened to get to the castle, the Castle doors are different. It can’t be unlocked in a normal fashion, we will have to blow the door with a canon. If you have played Resident Evil 4, this will be a walk in the park.
- From the locked door of the castle, take either the left or right doorway to reach the area at the top with a giant cannon ball but it’s not pointing at the castle door. We have to correctly align the cannon to point at the door.
- Here on the left side of the cannon, you will find a rotating wheel. You must spin the wheel to angle the cannon to point at the door. When you are rotating the cannon, you will get attacked by zombies, so fend them off and continue rotating the wheel.
Note: You must finish the rotation in one go. The game will show a bar on the left of the HUD to help you know about the rotation progress.
Once the cannon is fully rotated, go to the back of the cannon and fire it. The cannonball will hit the castle-locked door, and blow it into smithereens.
Essence Needs: The Essence cost here will be around 500 for this part.
Release The Crate
Shoot down three locks to open the crate
Our next task is to head inside the castle, again taking either the left or right of the stairs in the Entrance Hall to get to the cellar underneath the castle. Just follow the marker it will directly guide you to the door in the cellar. Opening the door, you will soon arrive in a large room titled Oubliette Room, with a blue steel crate sitting in the middle.
- The crate will have three locks attached to it, one on the left, right, and one at the bottom. Here take out the gun and shoot the locks to open the crate.
- Once the crate door is unlocked, the Doppleghast enemy will come out of it. So prepare for some rough fight.
Essence Needs: Here you will end up spending around 5250 Essence to unlock all the doors to the Oubliette room or the Blue Crate area.
Defeat Doppleghast And Unlock Pack-A-Punch
Defeating the Doppleghast will drop Blood Aetherium Crystal items on the floor. Pick the item up and go back to the blue crate. Inside the blue crate, you will spot a red vortex, don’t worry you don’t have to go inside, just insert the Blood Aetherium Crystal to activate the red vortex.
Once you insert the item, the pack-a-punch will show up in the game. Congratulations, now you have access to the pack-a-punch machine on the new map.
- The First-Tier for Pack-A-Punch Machine will require 5,000 Essence.
- The second tier for the Pack-A-Punch Machine will require 15,000 Essence.
- The Third for the Pack-A-Punch Machine will require 30,000 Essence.
