Each Field Upgrade in BO6 Zombies has Minor and Major Augments. All Field Upgrades get 3 unique choices for both Minor and Major Augments. So below I have listed the best Major and Minor Augments for all Field Upgrades in BO6 Zombies
Energy Mine
- Best Minor Augment: Extra Charge
- Best Major Augment: Carousel
For the Minor Augment, the Extra Charge augment is the best one of the other two which only changes detonation time or attracts zombies. You don’t really need those benefits but having an extra Energy Mine will help you a lot in surviving the higher rounds.
This is especially true once you pair it with Carousel, as you will get three energy mines rotating around you with each charge. So instead of being a mine, this will now protect you from any zombies that manage to reach close enough to you.
Dark Flare
- Best Minor Augment: Extra Charge
- Best Major Augment: Dark Pact
Again, for the Minor Augment, Extra Charge is the best one because it will give you another use of it. But this is only because of our Major Augment pick, otherwise, you can also go for Heavy Shadow which slows zombies on contact. This can also be helpful when you want to stall the zombies for a while at a certain location.
Dark Pact is the best Field Upgrade Augment for Dark Flare because it will give the beam of the flare the ability to heal your teammates and even revive them as long as it touches them. Combining this with Extra Charge means that you can get two chances to easily revive your teammates from a distance.
Healing Aura

- Best Major Augment: Persistence
Stoic Presence is the best Minor Augment for Healing Aura, it will stun all Elite and Special enemies when activated and also knock down the normal zombies. This helps out a lot when trying to regain your balance after getting revived by Healing Aura.
As all BO6 Zombies players know, perks are one of the most important things to try and keep hold of. This is why Persistence is the best Field Upgrade Augment for Healing Aura since it allows players to keep their perks on the bleed out bar after getting revived by Healing Aura.
Aether Shroud
- Best Minor Perk: Extension
- Best Major Perk: Void Stealth
Aether Shroud makes you invisible for a short duration which is great for losing aggro of the zombies in a tight situation. Extension helps increase this short duration for a much longer one which helps in creating a lot of distance and planning your next move before coming out of the shroud.
But you can then further extend it by pairing it with the best Major Augment which is Void Stealth. This on the best Field Upgrade Augment in BO6 Zombies because it will imbue your melee weapon with Dark Aether which allows you to use it without breaking the invisibility of Void Shroud. Frenzied Guard

- Best Major Augment: Frenzy Fire
Frenzied Guard will attract all enemies to you for a short duration but you also get armor for each kill during this duration. But with the best Minor Augment called Repair-Boost, you will get more armor with each kill than what you get by default.
For the Major Augment, Frenzy Fire is the best one because it allows you to use ammo from your stock rather than the magazine. This means as long as you have ammo saved up, you can keep shooting without having to reload which works very well with Repair-Boost.
