Best Early Game Perks in 7 Days to Die
Here are 5 of the best perks you can get early in 7 Days to Die:
Lucky Looter

There is no perk more useful than the Lucky Looter perk. This will give you a 10% increase in loot speed and a 5% increase in the loot that you get from containers like when you are trying to find Water. This speed increase sounds useless but it adds up when trying to loot certain containers that take very long. You should always get the base version of Lucky Looter no matter the build.
Mother Lode

Mother Lode is yet another no-brainer perk that gives you 20% more yield from ore, stone, and terrain blocks if you use an axe, pick, shovel, chainsaw, or auger. Getting this early game means you will get the most out of any valuable ore that you find. This will help massively in the long run. You can also spend more points on this to upgrade the effects since it is worth it.
Rule 1: Cardio

7 Days to Die is a survival game, it is obvious that you will be running, a lot. You will need to run from your base to get resources, run back, and run away from danger, you will use it all the time. This is why the Rule 1 Cardio perk is an amazing early-game perk, it will give you a 10% increase in stamina regen when sprinting.
Run and Gun

You always need to be able to quickly run away as quickly as possible when faced with some grave dangers. One of the things that can hinder this is that your character slows down dramatically when reloading. The Run and Gun perk takes care of that by giving you a 30% decrease in the movement penalty when reloading. It also gives you a 10% increase in hip-fire accuracy.
The Penetrator

By week 2 in 7 Days to Die, you will start finding armored enemies that can be tough to deal with unless you have The Penetrator perk. This is the best perk for armored enemies as it allows you to find weak spots and ignore 10% armor and 20% on anything that has Target Armor reduction. Later upgrades by spending more points on this perk can also give you piercing rounds.
