Last Epoch, the action RPG from Eleventh Hour Games has a new patch rolled out and has been getting players back into the world. If you are also one of those who is trying out the game for the first time, one of the side quests involved will have you select from two options, both of which reward you with different gear – which one should you pick, what are the perks of each item – we have detailed out all these for you in this article
How To Complete Erza’s Ledger Quest In Last Epoch
This is a typical fetch quest where Elder Ezra, an NPC in the Last Refuge area (this area becomes accessible as you progress in the story and reach Act 2) tasks you to obtain his ledger. The ledger is found in Erza’s Library where you will face against several cultists and void monsters. Once obtained, you can head back to the Council Chamber, where you now have two options which net different rewards as below:
How To Get Avarice Gloves In Last Epoch
You can get Avarice Gloves in Last Epoch on returning the ledger to Erza as part of Erza’s Ledger quest. These are Unique Gloves, and the description reads as ‘Have the wisdom to know what is rightfully yours and the will to seize it’.
How To Get Gambler’s Fallacy In Last Epoch
You can get the Gambler’s Fallacy in Last Epoch on returning the ledger to Arteim instead of Erza as part of Erza’s Ledger quest.
Avarice Gloves Or Gambler’s Fallacy : What Should You Choose
The perks on Avarice Gloves are as follows:
- 3% of Elemental Damage Leeched as Health
- 32% Increased Leech Rate
- 13% Elemental Resistance
The perks on Gambler’s Fallacy are as follows:
- 100% Critical Strike Rate Chance if no Critical Strike has been dealt recently
- -50% Critical Strike Rate Chance if Critical Strike has been dealt recently
- +11 Health on-hit on Critical Strike
I easily recommend picking up Avarice Gloves over Gambler’s Fallacy – the benefits are clear and not dependant on any condition, and the benefits are substantial enough. Health regen and increased elemental resistances can prove super useful in battles, especially if your character build focuses on elemental damage.
