Hellfire makes a return in Borderlands 4, which you can obtain easily after completing a certain mission. If you are looking to fill up your weapon slot with a powerful incendiary elemental-based weapon, then look no further. Here is a guide to obtain the Hellfire in Borderlands 4.

The Hellfire weapon is obtained as a drop on killing the boss Skyspanner Kratch, located at the end of Lambent Mines in the Terminus Range region in Cuspid Climb. The weapon is not a confirmed drop, so you may need to go back and interact with Moxxi’s Big Encore Machine to start the fight all over again. The only requirement to get the item is that you must make progress in the main quest and finish the Shadow of the Mountain main mission. At the end of the mission, you will come face-to-face with the Skyspanner Kratch boss. I recommend that you be at Level 15 to have a smoother time defeating the boss.

    Hellfire Overview In Borderlands 4

This legendary SMG is now manufactured by Ripper instead of Maliwan in previous games. Instead of switching between two elemental types, since the SMG is tied to Ripper, you must charge before firing any shot from Hellfire.

When it comes to its strength, since it bears an Incendiary element, it will deal a heavy amount of damage against Flesh, decent damage against Armor, but little to no damage against Shield enemies.

That’s it, now you can own Hellfire in Borderlands 4, but don’t stop the legendary hunting. We have a guide to help you hunt Lead Balloon Legendary Shotgun, Barrage Sharpened Fireworks Armor Shield, and Concussive Jelly Grenade in Borderlands 4.
