Artis Impact has layers of details in almost every part of the game. Some of them are hidden well behind its system, which requires a bit of patience to see the unique scenes and the reward at the end. If you are willing to spend your time interacting with any of the mechanics in the game, you will be handsomely rewarded for the trouble. If you are new to the game, we have prepared a helpful guide to help you get all the tricks and helpful tips to get started in Artis Impact.
Set Up Fast Travel Points
Make your way to the Uptown Area; the path is located next to the Sunbuck shop. Here, you will find a bank on the top, and the Carpenter and Pawn shop on the right. Head inside and talk to Carpenter Carter. Then you need to buy all three Gentleroids from him. After you purchase a single one of them, they will automatically head to the area and work as a fast travel point.
Upgrade Your House
After you buy all three Gentleroids from the Carpenter in the Uptown Area, you will be able to upgrade your home at Carpenter Carter. The upgrades for your house will not be cheap, so prepare to have quite a lot of money to ask for an upgrade. Each upgrade will take an in-game day to reach its completion. Don’t worry, you can still use the house as it undergoes a construction upgrade. Upgrading your house will lead to new rooms and upgrade stations, a TV, and more.
Make Money Early
Head to Moris Mart and complete jobs to gain money, and Head to Sunnyside Town and enter the Diner on the left to work in the kitchen. You will easily turn $300 in a day. You can also sell items at the Pawn shop to make some money. But we highly recommend you get a job in the Moris Mart and the Diner to make a good amount of money to buy almost anything early in the game.
Dealing with Arsenic Poisoning
AI attacks contain Arsenic Poisoning; you can see your current Arsenic Poison status in the top-right corner of the screen. Focus on the two bars under the green bar; both bars will show you the status of Arsenic Poisoning. Here we have Arsenic C. and Arsenic E. The best way to lower both of them is by taking Purge-9 for $120 in the Clinic. You can access the Clinic by taking the East Wing route from the Sunnyside Central Area. If you don’t have any money, then you can take a shower to drain the meter.
Take Shower
At first, your home will not have access to a shower, which is crucial to get rid of the Arsenic Poison status in the game. Head to Wilson Residence next to Moris Mart, located in the Junction. Head inside the residency and interact with the tub in the room to take a proper bath. You might have to wait for a minute or two to get rid of the Arsenic poisoning.
Interact with Everything and Everyone
Always interact with every NPC you come across in the game. While some will leave you with a few dialogue lines, others will lead you to a new quest, dialogue interaction, or a fun cutscene. Always interact with random stuff lying on the floor; you never know what you might come across in the game.
Save Manually
You can’t manually save anywhere in the game; you must interact with a specific bot to create a manual save. You need to find a blue bot to manually save your progress. In the first area, the blue bot is located next to the Lith-Club in Mayval Woods. Saving manually will come with its cost, with 1% fee on top of the charge. Think of it as Ink ribbons in Resident Evil.
Join the Gym
You must sign up for membership at the local Gym located on Street 17, next to the Uptown Area. It’s not going to be free, you must have 300$ to get the membership card for the gym, and the gym will charge an hourly rate when you are using their equipment. While it is a bit expensive, the stat boost you will get in return makes the time and money worth it.
Aptitude Skills
These are some of the skills that you will automatically get once you take part in various mundane activities in the game. Continue doing the regular side job, such as working for the Moris Mart or the Diner, and you will get special events that will earn you new Aptitude passive skills. Once you are out exploring in the world, interacting with everything, this will also kick off a small cutscene ending with you gaining a new Aptitude Skill.
Buy New Skill Arts and Mastery
Head to Lith-Club, located in Mayval Woods. Here, interact with the machines on both sides of the entrance to the Workshop. Here, you will be able to buy all Art-Books (Mastery and Arts) in exchange for Gold Coins. Learning new skills can turn the tide of many battles in the future. So every time you earn a Gold Coin, head to the Lith-Club to learn new skills right away.
While there are a lot of mechanics that you will keep learning over the course of your first few hours in the game, with these tips and tricks, you will be placed in a much better position as you approach the later parts of Artis Impact.
