You know when a Black Ops title has round-based zombies like BO6, there are going to be some obscure puzzles to solve to get the secret easter eggs like the light beam puzzle on Citadelle des Morts. This puzzle is part of a process to get the Paladins Brooch that can be used to get a flame sword to use against the zombies. Here is how you can solve the light beam puzzle on the Citadelle des Morts in Black Ops 6 Zombies.
How To Start The Light Beam Puzzle at Citadelle des Morts in BO6 Zombies
The light beam puzzle in Citadelle des Morts starts at the Dining Hall in the top right corner of the map. However, there are some steps you will need to complete before you can start it like finding and unlocking the Pack-a-Punch machine to use it on one of your guns. While we have a detailed guide on how to activate Pack-A-Punch, the short summary is as below:
- Head to the Oubliette Room by heading into the main entrance of the castle and taking the path on the left side of the center stairs. Keep heading down and through the Undercroft and here you will need to buy a door to access the room.
- Break the locks off of the cargo container in this room and prepare for a boss fight against the Doppelghast that comes out of it.
- After you beat the Doppelghast, pick up the Blood Aetherium Crystal he drops at the location of his death. Now take this crystal to Undercroft Stairways where the cargo container with a red portal is and interact with it to make it turn into a Pack-a-Punch machine. Proceed to use the machine to upgrade one of your weapons.
- Now go talk to Krafft, who is found in the Dungeons. To get here, progress through the Undercroft and buy the second door that leads here. You can find Krafft inside a cell near the curved wall.
- You will now be able to access the Dining Hall and ready to tackle the Light Beam puzzle so make your way there next.
How To Solve The Light Beam Puzzle In Citadelle Des Morts
Once you are here, look up on the walls to find a red glowing orb. Shoot this orb and it will emit a faint beam of light. Keep shooting it until the beam of light is bright and constricted like a laser beam.
Follow this beam of light to the next orb, now repeat the same steps of shooting it until it gives off a bright beam of light.
Continue to do this to find the next orb by following the bright beams until you complete the puzzle. The beams will lead you to a bust sitting on a table which will now give you the Paladin’s Brooch.
When you are shooting the light orbs for the beams, keep a look out for zombies as they can easily catch you by surprise during this. If you are interested in other easter eggs on this map, check out our guide on all music player locations at Citadelle Des Morts in BO6.
