Guard’s Broadaxe

Faction: Mourn Watchers
How to Get: Head over to Mourn Watch Faction shop to buy it for 825 Gold.
Guard’s Broadaxe Stats:
276 Physical Damage and 413 Stagger
- You will do 20% more damage when your health is low.
- If you have no Potions, the final attacks will always be critical.
- If you don’t have any potion, defeating any enemy will get you one.
This is a great weapon purely on account of its abilities and bonuses: dealing critical damage when you are low on health with no potions helps greatly when you want to wipe out that last chunk of the enemy health bar before it wipes you out.
Dark Shard
Type: Longsword

How to Get: Head over to the Upper Inner Cells of the Ossuary.
Dark Shard Stats:
466 Stagger and 196 Necrotic Damage
- 15% Necrotic Damage and Resistance.
- Critical hit inflicts Necrosis.
- Necrosis target deals 100 Necrotic damage area around them.
The Necrotic damage will sip through the armor directly affecting the enemy, making it a perfect unique weapon for warrior build, as they tend to focus on only physical damage.
Elven Rockbreaker
Type: Maul
Rarity: Legendary
Faction: Veil Jumpers
How to Get: Make your way to Arlathan Crater. From there, head to Temple Gardens. You will find the weapon inside a treasure chest.
Elven Rockbreaker Stats:
298 Physical Damage and 1,232 Stagger
- +8 Rage on Hit
- 15% Rage Generation
- Enhanced damage on expanding rage 3 times.
- Maximum Rage raised to 50

How to Get: You can buy the weapon from Mourn Watch Faction Shop for 600 Gold.

How to Get: There are two ways we can acquire this weapon, one by spending money, and the other one requires us to steal it from the chest.
- Option #1: You can buy the weapon from Shadow Dragons Faction Shop for 700 Gold Or Black Emporium Shop, but instead of gold, here you have to spend 27 Etheric Remnants.
- Option #2: If you want to save gold and Etheric Remnants, then you can head to Smuggler’s Docks in Dock Town, and grab it from a chest.
Anvil Breaker Stats:
333 Physical Damage and 1114 Stagger
- 20% Damage with Charged Heavy Attack
- 25% Stagger
- You will deal 50% damage against overwhelmed enemies.
- 50% Stagger duration.
Makes a great choice for Reaper build for the sheer amount of crushing damage it can deal in combat. The two-handed weapon will get the job done with its charge-heavy attack it will clear the map easily.
Best Weapons For Mage In Dragon Age: The Veilguard
Flamebranch
Type: Elemental Stave
Rarity: Legendary
Damage Type: Fire
How to Get: After defeating the Large Blight Cyst during the initial quest in Crossroads, you will come across a smaller blight, after defeating it, you will find the Flamebranch within a chest in the location. You can also obtain the second Flamebranch from the Veil Jumper Faction Trader.
Flamebranch Stats:
298 Fire Damage / 58 Stagger
- 15% Mana Generation
- Enemies with burning status generate +2 when they get hit with Flamebranch.
- +50 Max Mana
- 25% Fire ability damage on every 50 Mana Spent in the game.
In its final stage, it will reach the highest damage compared to all the staves in the game. For the Mage, the Flamebranch will come in very helpful with the added 15% Mana Generation.
Twist Of The Veil

How to Get: Head over to Elven Ruins, then go to Cliff Wolf Temple to find the Twist of the Veil in a chest.

How to Get: Head to Cliffside Passage in Ritual Site, here you will find the chest middle of the map, you will have to use the two beam generators to destroy the obstacle on your path to gain the weapon.
Frostbranch Stats:
- 20% Charge attack damage
- 50 % Charge attack damage against Armor
- When armor breaks, you will apply Frozen status on enemies.
- Frozen enemies will receive critical damage from this weapon.
Very lethal against frozen enemies, as charged attacks lead to armor break it will be easier to find frozen enemies when you are swinging this Frostbranch.

Grip and Rip

How to Get: Finish Slaying the Fangscorcher quest in Burnt Village, you will find the weapon in the chest after defeating the Fangscorcher.

How to Get: During the Heart of Corruption quest, defeat a revenant in the Heights of Athim in Crossroads.

How to Get: Defeating Nocturnix in Arlathan Forest will grant you this weapon.

- Active Necrotic Weapon inflicts Necrosis on FInal attack.
