Faction reputation in Star Wars Outlaws is crucial for the rest of the gameplay, it can alter the game mechanics in your favor or make it harder for you to go through. One of the ways the game pushes the player to gain or lose reputation is by decision-making. At the end of The Broker quest in Star Wars Outlaws, Kay is faced with one of these important decisions on whether to keep the pearl or not. Here’s a short guide on everything you need to know about all the options, and the consequences of each of these.
Star Wars Outlaws Broker Quest: All Options
Mission Briefing:
The Pearl decision comes at the end of the quest The Broker (Faction Quest). The mission takes place after you return the relic to Ashiga Queen. Our old friend Danka will put us in a difficult position to reclaim the object being traded by two criminal organizations. After you have stolen the pearl, head back to Danka to show the goods. She then will leave us with a decision of what to do with the pearl.
Here we have three choices either we hand the pearl to Ashiga Clan or Crimson Dawn, and lastly, we have the option of keeping the pearl to ourselves. Each of them will lead to different outcomes.
- Side with Ashiga Clan: When you hand the pearl to Ashiga, you will gain a significant amount of reputation with Ashiga Clan. If you are looking to side with one faction in Star Wars Outlaws, then handing the pearl to Ashiga Clan will make more sense.
- Side with Crimson Dawn: For the players who wouldn’t want to make any faction mad. Giving the pearl to Crimson Dawn is the best possible solution. If you want to keep everybody happy, then you can decide to side with Crimson Dawn, where you will gain a huge reputation for Crimson Dawn and a moderate amount of gain for Ashiga Clan.
- Keeping the Pearl to Yourselves: Now the third option, the scoundrel option. If you are playing the game living up to the outlaw status, then you might decide to keep the pearl for yourself. When you keep the pearl, you can sell it in the market for 2000 credits. Keeping the pearl also gains a decent reputation with the Ashiga Clan.
The Broker Quest: Best Option On What To Do With The Pearl
The pearl has no usage for the rest of the gain, it doesn’t provide bonuses or any sort of advantage to Kay, so selling it is the only option. We recommend you pick the Crimson Dawn to keep everybody happy. When you look at the other two options, they are not great.
While keeping the pearl will earn you only 2000 credits, you can simply make that amount looting vaults around the game, Siding with Ashiga Clan is another option, but when you do side with Crimson Dawn, you gain a reputation for both factions, however, less it might be for Ashiga. A win-win in the book.
it all comes down to the players and how they play the game. if you are doing an outlaw run focusing on one faction, then you can choose to side with Ashiga leaving Crimson Dawn to the side.
Or play the mission by double-crossing everyone and keep the prize for yourself. Since everything here has to do with money, why not stake the faction’s reputation on the line to gain some money in return?
